Bless Your Heart!
With Valentine’s Day only 2 days away, I’m wrapping and packing up my valentines to get in the mail today. What a blessing it is to love and be loved………… Love is the best!
I’m also whipping up some pink “love” juice. Sipping on this healthy combination is sure to keep you in the pink!
- 2 ruby red grapefruits, peeled
- 6 red swiss chard stems
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow crook neck squash
- 1 bundle of basil
- 1 lemon, peeled
Wash, juice and enjoy! Breakfast, lunch and dinner have never been easier
DAY 35 – 23 lbs. :)
Beth, took this yesterday when I met her and Kim, briefly at Ikea. They were squealing and jumping up and down, patting my face with excitement. How sweet and encouraging they were! Even though I do feel like I’m slowly melting, I still have 47 more pounds to go. But, hey! It’s happening. I’m 1/3 of the way there. One down, two to go! One down. Two to go! Hey, hey, hey! I hear you cheering. And it’s just what I needed because yesterday after boot camp, I was sitting at a signal light, feeling like I wanted to cry. Just as I asked out loud, “Why do I feel like crying?”, I got a text and quickly read:
Morning Roxanne! You make EVERYTHING fun…..Your blog is awesome, AwEsOmE, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D and I are home and started juicing right when we hit the door. I can’t tell you how it sped up my recovery from the long trip. I’m snapping pics of your cutely written recipes (LOVE how you’ve styled your juice and recipes!) to use from my phone while juicing. Your spirit, scripture, etc. sprinkled in makes the most delightful, encouraging reading and your beautiful pictures and paintings are a feast for the eyes. Honestly, after spending time with you on your blog, I feel refreshed, energized, ready to tackle the day! I LOVE YOU, ROXANNE SPRADLIN!!!!
Well, then I really started crying, but I was laughing too! I felt like I had just been bombed with a heavenly water balloon full of joy, confetti, streamers, encouraging words, balloons and affirmation! Thank you sweet Mary! What Divine timing. It was so awesome! That little dark cloud that was creeping into my peripheral vision was blown right back to the pit of hell.
Thank you, Father! Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Holy Spirit!
