Keep these things ponder them in your heart...

This week has been so much fun. My beautiful daughter Beth drove in from San Antonio for a visit. She was accompanied by two of the sweetest little girls, aka my grand girls! Our week was full and busy. Like a barrel of monkeys, there was never a dull moment.

Not much painting this week. However, inspired by the daily painting I did last week, I managed to get down to the studio very early one morning. I really liked the way this 'Empty Plate and Cup' look with 'Purple Peach'!

Mostly we played, baked, swam, visited and went on outings! We even shelled fresh peas! Carter really caught on quick! Emme preferred the basket.

We made of our fun! One evening we took a long walk.
It didn't take long to break a sweat in this West Texas heat.

We spent several fun evenings with Pops! One night we had dinner and a swim at the country club. Last night was 'picture day' for the Cooper Cougars Football Team. We spent a couple of hours at Shotwell Stadium. Carter loved playing with all the coaches kids. Beth took lot's of great pictures. One Hundred and six to be exact! As soon as I can get my hands on them, I'll share a few favorites!
Well, I've got to run! Clint and Jenny are driving out to spend the night. Jenny's aunt and uncle Nancy and Jim Martin, are visiting from Chicago. We're looking forward to a 'rip roaring' good time!....but for now, I've got sheets to wash and dinner to cook!!!
Hope you're enjoying life today, wherever you are!
