Helping Hands!

I love being married to a coach. I’ve learned so much! It's not always easy but I wouldn't change a thing, but one of the things I like most is the sisterhood that develops between the wives. We quickly become friends that often feel like family. We love to help each other. We have a lot of fun. Meet Cassi! A beautiful mom with three adorable children. We have planted flowers, moved furniture, hauled stuff to the attic, rearranged rooms, fed dogs, watered plants, shared recipes and party ideas. We also like to decorate and paint. Lot’s of painting. It’s cheap and dramatic.

Look what we did last week. Cassi found this idea on Pinterest and just happen to have a large piece of plywood in their garage. She rolled on a couple of coats of white paint and that afternoon, Tate 1 1/2 and I painted on the words, as messy and drippy, as we could. I love these words by E.E. Cummings:

I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart) I am never without it (anywhere I go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling) I fear

no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) I want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true) and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant and whatever a sun will always sing is you

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)

A special thanks to all the women in my life. My cup runneth over…and I’m drinking out of the saucer.

It has been a blast! It makes me laugh thinking back at how many times we have actually moved furniture! I love you! Look forward to our next adventure!

Ok creative, lady - fellow coach's wife here.

I've got some ideas for special surprises for my coach as his season is about to start gearing up but I want to bounce them off a veteran.

Can you do coffee soon? Practice starts right after thanksgiving and we all know how bananas it already is by then....

Call me!

That's sweet. :) There's truly nothing better than a girlfriend...new or old.
