I love this picture…I can’t stop smiling! Emmerson is so tiny sitting in the green chair. I love the way the colors are playing off of each other, but most of all I love Emmerson and the precious expression on her face.
Emme loves to sing and recently caught on to the ‘Happy Birthday’ song. She also loves her Daddy and did her best to sing along! We watched Nate fearlessly blow out all 34 candles. Then enjoyed a slice of carrot cake and Pop’s coaxing Emme to quote Augustus McCrae, from Lonesome Dove to say, ‘Dang! That’s tasty.” It was all fun until about 2:30 in the morning when Emme got sick. Need I say more?
Happy Birthday, Nathaniel! You are my favorite 34 year old!….and like your name means, a gift from God.
