Along with the New Year comes many resolutions. At the top of my list is to "paint a lot'! I'm happy to say this past week I spent many hours in my sunny studio, listening to praise music and painting flowers. It was fun! Not fabulous, but fun. Above is the first off the press. I think I'll post everything I paint in order to journal my progress. I'm in search of finding my niche, my style. I'm looking for something personal and authentic. I pray this will not be difficult but something tells me it may not be easy! I'm open to any of your suggestions. How does one find their personal, unique style? Any thoughts?

Your painting is gorgeous!! Certainly a breath of fresh air in January!! I agree with Gina. You can't overthink your painting. As long as it comes from your heart it will have your own signature on it. Don't worry about what other people think and don't be so hard on yourself. You were given a special gift. Just share it with the world the way your heart wants to and keep your head out of it. : )
