This morning we woke up to 9 inches of snow! After coffee and breakfast, I pulled on my boots, bundled up and headed out to take a few pics! Immediately I was struck by the beauty. Everything is transformed with when it has a few inches of snow. Common place objects become uncommon. Almost like works of art.

The screen door pic is absolutely gorgeous! They all are actually, but I just love that one and how the snow just fell so on it.

snow day! that sounds wonderful and looks beautiful. we don't get snow in my city. just santa ana winds! i do love the sound of the wind. the sound of the leaves, chimes, and the whistle of the wind. hmmm..... maybe that can be my snow :)
