Doris!

Doris, is one of the nicest things that ever happened to me. We met 2 1/2 years ago when I stumbled upon her tiny resale shop called the Lydian Market. Kindred spirits from the get go, weve grown to be dear friends.

Recently, Doris was given an opportunity to grow and expand her business. Her friends, which out number the stars are so excited! ....she is a success waiting to happen.
Over the next few days, she will be opening the doors to her new space. Here are a few photos I took of the exterior! I'm really happy with the way everything is turning out! I'll post more when we're finished.
Look what we did with the garden chairs above right and below!

Pretty eye catching, huh! We also created a 'shutter collage' over a large garage door size opening. I like it too!

For those of you interested in selling antiques, uniques and collectables, I have good news! Doris will be renting space in her 'Shabby Chic' boutique. A good location and reasonable prices are only two of several good things she is offering vendors.

If living in the West Texas area and interested in renting a little space, just leave a comment and an e-mail address and I'll get back with you quickly. Space is limited, so don't wait too long!

Well Roxanne the Artist..we are destined to be friends...Since I have met you, there have been so many "coincidences" that include you. After reading your blog I came to find out that you own and live in my most favorite house in Abilene. I have always admired your home..and I have always wondered to myself "Hmmm...I wonder who lives there? They have impecable decorating sense!" Then there was a post on your blog about a nursery you painted...well I knew I had seen it before and admired it, because I wene to an open house there...then there are the numerous occasions that I have "ran into" you at different locations...dollar tree, ross, the hildrens resale shop. You are probably wondering..."Where is this crazy lady going with all this?" Well the funny thing is, I just passed that precious little store today...and thought to myself..."I have lived here all my life and I have never seen it before...it must be brand new!" I came home to play on my blog...and wouldnt ya know...Roxanne the Artist has something to do with it! What a small world we really do live in. I cant wait to stop in!

I am laughing at Terah's comments because Roxy, you are the thread through all good things that ties things together. God uses you.

Ok, I must be the only person that is still in the dark, clueless, etc. Where's the shop?--Terry Browder

I love what you have done to the place... I really wish I didn't live so far away. I certainly will come by and shop when I am in town.
I can't wait to see more pics!
