Last Saturday, at Emerson’s 3 year old ‘Princess Party’, this picture was taken of Kim, myself and Beth. I loved having a new photo of me and my girls…family photos are my favorite!That is, I loved the idea of it because truthfully I don’t usually like seeing myself in photos. I know this will sound ridiculous but I’m always surprised at how big I am. It’s like the me in my head and the me in reality are miles apart (better yet, pounds). But when I saw this, I was amazed. I can already see an improvement in my appearance. Ten pounds makes a difference. Which makes me kind of wonder what will 20, 40, 60 pounds look like? In the past I have worried about weight loss, wrinkles and loose skin and things of the sort but I’ve decided to trust God with that too! Like in all areas of our lives, He is able to do all things. Time will tell and until then I will thank Him for His peace, presence, guidance and protection…. and I’ll hold on tight.
