Crook's Home...just in time for Thanksginving!

Over the past few weeks, I've posted some photos from Kelly's bedroom, sitting area and closet! You might remember it...silver baroque designs swirled over sky blue walls. Well, the week before Thanksgiving, my girls and favorite assistants, Beth and Kim, traveled out west to help me finish up the Crook's home. We arrived mid morning and dropped off Carter, to spend the day with Brooke and baby Cooper (thanks Brooke, your help was priceless).

The Crook's were planning to move into their newly remodeled home Thanksgiving week! We had 5 days to faux finish 18 areas, including a large kitchen with floor to ceiling cabinets that Kim would be glazing alone. Needless to say there was alot to be done in a short amount of time. A talented friend from Abilene, Pam Mitchell, would complete our team of decorative painters. After a quick lunch from Rosa's, we got started! First, we painted the green room upstairs all together to get the technique down. Then we all went to different parts of the house. Over the next few days we painted everything!
We painted the large dining room with a warm red accent wall.
The living area. Entry with an embellished ceiling I painted. The media room walls and ceiling, plus an adjoining bath.

A fun craft room with great storage. I drew the 'chalk art' on with charcoal and sprayed several coats of a matte sealer on top to protect.

The kitchen which was mostly cabintes!I love these pendant lights hanging over the island.

The powder bath...very cool!

The stair well and landing. The Master bedroom, sitting room, exercise room, and bath. Plus, the laundry room, the bath upstairs and a hall. It was alot of work but everything turned out great and we were able to finish Thursday evening. The Crook's were very pleased! I couldn't be happier. Job well done, Beth, Kim and Pam! Thank you for helping complete this project with time to spare. Let's do it again sometime.
Happy Thanksgiving, to the Crook family! I hope your enjoying your new home. May you Holidays and future be bright and merry!!!
