Favorite things......

Just in case you haven't heard, we're moving to Temple, Texas. Coach is officially the Athletic Director/Head Football Coach for the 5AAAAA Temple Wildcats. We have loved living in Abilene and will miss it! We won't have to change colors but we will have to change houses! So in the next few weeks I'll be trying to sell our house. It's a wonderful home, all 1936 sq. ft. of it. We've made a lot of great memories here. But now it's time for us to move into the next chapter of our lives. We will miss this place and all of our great neighbors. I can't help but wonder who will live here next.

So in the days to come, I've decided to share my favorite things about this 1937 Tudor Cottage.
First up, is the updated kitchen. Spacious with lots of cabinets, robin egg blue counter tops, stainless steel appliances, gas range, breakfast nook, 4 windows with brown toile roman shades and track lighting. I also like the open floor plan, where one area flows into another. Great for entertaining a crowd.

More favorite things to follow. Next up! The Dining Room...

  1. Roxanne, good luck with your house! I wrote a while back, I live in Michigan....we are moving too! Luckily no house to sell, we have rented since my husband started the job he currently has. He is now going to be a superintendent of a school district about 30 miles from where we currently live.

I love reading about your adventures, your school spirit, your family and your art! You are truly blessed and I know someone is going to fall in love with your home!
