Christmas Parade

I love living in Temple, Texas for many reasons!

One of which is the Christmas Parade. Last Monday we took our place

on the curb and with cotton candy and light wands. We watched, waved

and cheered. Delighted with each passing entry but one in particular

vehicle caught our eye, it was carrying this years Parade Marshall.

Who happened to be, Kim! Who was joined by her BFF and future

husband Bryan Wolfe and adorable niece, Carter.

 

I had so much fun! Small town America is awesome. The

people are warm and friendly and life is good.

Oh, the sights and sounds of Christmas!

It’s a colorful time of year. Which reminds me! Beth and Carter

(Carter’s first 5 K) participated in a color run last Sunday. As you

can tell by their faces, they had a blast! Way to go. girls!

Another a big congratulation to Jenny, who recently won Overall First

in her third Fitness Competetion, this year, which is really amazing

considering she didn’t start training until last June, works full-time and

goes to law school.

However, her commitment, dedication and determination has brought her success

in 2012 and big goals for 2013.

Clint, thanks for being you and always making me smile!
