On the opening day of the famous Round Top Antiques Show, I’d like to report to all my fellow ‘Junker's that Central Texas has it’s share of great antique shops. I like them all! Salado, Texas is a great place to spend the day shopping and I have, but at the top of my list is 2nd Street Emporium.
Located downtown Temple, on where else but 2nd Street! Owners Julia and Sally have created a fabulous store during the past 8 years they’ve been in business. I met these fun ladies while they were having an estate sale. We became quick friends and today they invited me to come down to the store and ‘play’.
Moving, scooting, stacking and arranging. I enjoyed every minute. Especially the window.I’ve never seen so many interesting old things under one roof. Whatever I needed theyhad. Furniture, lighting, books, collectibles, glassware, jewelry, architectural, clothing, toys, are just a few of the things you’ll find in this attractive store.
Drop in the next chance you get. They're open M-Sat. You won’t be disappointed. Also I shop mention that next week they’ll be having another Estate Sale. Check out their website for more information.
Your window looks great. I'll go by this week to check it out!
