Our daughter Kimberly, playful and full of surprises, has out done herself this month. Until now, sand volleyball, white water rafting, downhill snow skiing, teaching English in a Thailand orphanage, singing in front of large crowds and jumping off high bridges were at the top of her 'Most Exciting Adventures' list. On February 15Th, she will make her TV debut in her latest adventure, as a castaway on the 24Th season of Survivor. Amazing, huh? There's never been a dull moment with this child. Contrary to popular belief, she is not a model or an actress. Kim, is a well raised, fun loving, athletic, hard working, fashion forward, generous young woman with a good head on her shoulders. She is as pretty on the inside as she is on the out. Kim, our middle child and youngest daughter, has been a delight to our family. Her sincere honesty and sense of humor are refreshing as shade tree on a hot day. Though I must say occasionally her love of creating awkward situations can make her as annoying as a pesky fly! In short, we can't wait to watch 'our girl'! I haven't been this excited about watching Survivor since Elisabeth Filarski Hasselbeck and season 2!

From time to time Teresa commissions me to paint little gifts for her. This one was for her daughter Kristin, whose high ranking military husband was just promoted. Thus the tongue and cheek humor of the message is her little reminder to him. :)
