I long for salt air in my hair!
I love waking up early to drink coffee on
the screened in porch.
Taking quiet walks in the morning surf.
I also love sandcastles…
Beach houses….
and whimsy!
During our fun filled week at the beach we ‘lived in the sun,
swam in the sea and drank the wild air!’
We also found seashells and driftwood, shopped, I painted mermaids and big beach signs (now at Cita’s in Port A).Coach, Big Laynce and Kim caught Redfish and trout in the bay. Beth and Co. joined us too! … for more beach fun!
Lazy mornings and big breakfasts were another favorite
and thanks to our fisherman, we ate lot’s of fresh fish!
Lot’s of rest and relaxation. Meaningful conversation.
Time together is so refreshing…gives food for thought!
As we head back we’ll savor our beach vacation by bringing home a few souvenirs. Some of which we purchased, others we simply found but no doubt my favorite are the memories we made and an important decision I made, which I’ll tell about later…
and of course, the salt in my hair and sand in my toes.
A special thanks to Lori and Jimmy Dean for sharing their gorgeous beach house! It was a generous gift we will never forget. Bless you.
